KATRINA'S MESSAGE
Focusing on kitchen table issues is and should be the focus. This legislative session, the GOP showed us who they really are when they championed bills to reduce SNAP benefits, take away workers’ lunch breaks, roll back child labor laws and pushed a constitutional amendment that would send public dollars to unaccountable private schools.

As a Democrat, but more importantly as a working mom, wife, educator, and servant leader, my goal is to help build a better, brighter future for ALL Kentuckians, while supporting working families, individuals, and children in every corner of our Commonwealth.

3 KEY POINTS:
-
Public tax dollars belong to the public and should serve the public, not private interests.
-
Healthcare is a right, not a privilege to be manipulated.
-
Poverty is not a life choice, but it is a struggle people should not be forced to fight alone.
